This Nerf Maverick became the "Three of Diamonds" Inspired pistol.  I've been asked by several cosplayers to make this.

A carbine rifle with a folding stock to make it easily transportable.  A white body with a metallic red stripe running along the top. Dark grey handgrip and detailing.

The front barrel extension/suppressor is suitable grimy around the ventilation holes.

Nerf pistol repainted into D.Va's light gun from Overwatch.  3D printed rabbit charm and bunny ears on the top of the gun.  Looks as close as I could make it while still being a fully working Nerf.

This is Type 1 Nerf Crossbolt with the arms cut right down to make it into a compact, bullpup Personal Defence Weapon.  Designed to be held in one hand while the other hand operates the top slide.

This is the Type 2 Nerf Crossbolt PDW.  This has the same colours as the type 1 but has a different design to them.

The Death Trooper E-11D blaster from Rogue One.  Repainted from the original bright red to a more screen accurate chipped steel black body with burnt steel effect barrel.  The lights and sound effects still worked to!

Han Solo's DL-44 blaster.  This classic Star Wars blaster in Nerf form was originally bright blue but repainted to worn steel with wood grips.  As a massive fan of Star Trek you can join The Browncoats and fight the Cylons with this!

A worn and battered heavy repeater pistol for a worn out, steampunk world.  Painted as steel and copper frame with brass cylinder and barrel.  I even painted lines on the barrel to give it the effect of being milled from a solid piece of brass.

Inspired by the Torgue rifles from the Borderlands videogame, this rifle is repainted in the cel shaded style.  A massive magazine and a red targeting light under the barrel.  A really big Nerf that took a lot of time to get this look.

The only non Nerf I've painted.  This is a Boom Co blaster repainted from bright red to a Mass Effect pistol. 

It's unique way of charging the spring gave it this unique shape which lent itself well to the Mass Effect Universe.

A Nerf Firestrike repainted as a Mass Effect compact pistol.  A two piece white body with a red bodied targeting light, worn steel snub barrel and grip with wooden palm grips.  Finished off with 'blue energy' running along each side of the top of the body.

A bright blue Nerf Roughcut repainted as a Steampunk, wooden bodied shotgun.  Steel handgrip, foregrip and 8 barrels.  A really cool paint trick gave this very realistic wood effect.

Another classic Nerf Maverick repainted as a Vanguard pistol from the Destiny videogame.  Black handgrip and white forward frame.  Lots of worn steel edges all over with a really battered Vanguard logo on the top slide. 

Here is the Destiny Vanguard colour scheme on another Nerf pistol, this time on a Nerf Strongarm.  I made the V symbol extend from the top slide on to the main body making a bolder statement.  Lots of measuring went into getting this right, made harder by the bottom of the symbol disappearing into the handgrip.

Another Destiny Vanguard colour scheme this time on a massive Nerf Centurion.  These things are huge and the V symbol is equally massive.  There is a Nerf Sidestrike on the table for a size comaprison. 

This was originally an all yellow Alpha Trooper but became this white and orange Carbine rifle.  The pump action handle needed to be sanded down so it didn't scrape off the paint as it moved along the barrel.

347 Vesta Dynasty inspired colour scheme on a Nerf shotgun.  A great shape blaster that I added a straight magazine to.  This helped accentuate the straight lines coming off the body.  The lines continue on the underside and met up. 

This was inspired by the colour scheme of Soldier: 76 from Overwatch.  Dark blue and black with a contrasting white in an angular pattern all over.  Very different from anything I had done before.

The black outer frame with bright red sides really stands out.  All the black parts are given silver paint on the edges to give them a worn steel look.  When this was all done then came the real worry; spraying 'M8' on each side.  Stencil cut out on cardboard, held down with masking tape and sprayed lightly.

I started this whole thing off doing Steampunk blasters.  This Nerf Rebelle 4victory has a great shape.  It was originally a mix of white, pink and blue but here it is finished as a wooden bodied steel framed pistol with a brass muzzle.

Here are two Nerf Mavericks, in a different style of Steampunk colour scheme.  Not as worn, thanks to far less drybrushing that I usually use.  The dark body is highlighted by the bright red foregrip and bronze coloured cylinder and slide.

I had the great idea of painting bigger Nerf guns, without realising just how big they are.  Lots of masking tape, paint and time needed for these.  This one is a Destiny inspired Nerf rifle.  Black handgrip, foregrip and barrel meant plenty of masking before spraying the body orange.

I love the Borderlands games and their look.  Cel shading is very impressive and trying to bring it into the real world is a challenge.

This Nerf Slingfire was originally green and now looks so different with its cel shaded look.

A Nerf Strongarm becomes a very worn steel Fallout videogame inspired pistol.  I tried to make it look as faded as possible.
